Terms and Conditions of Use

These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter, the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the website https://qiu.live (hereinafter, the “Website”), owned by Novense Quantum AI, S.L., with Tax ID B24759771 and registered office at Calle Suero de Quiñones, 34, 28002 Madrid, Spain (hereinafter, “QIU” or the “Company”).

By accessing or using the Website, users (hereinafter, the “User” or “Users”) agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy available on the Website. Users who do not agree with these Terms must refrain from using QIU.

1. Purpose

QIU is a technological platform developed and managed by Novense Quantum AI, S.L., whose main purpose is to connect recruiters and candidates through online interviews. The platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to suggest relevant matches between job opportunities and professional profiles, facilitating direct communication and interview scheduling between both parties.

QIU acts solely as a technological intermediary that enables communication and connection between Users. QIU does not participate in any employment relationship or in final hiring decisions. Recruiters are solely responsible for their selection decisions, and candidates are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.

2. User Access and Registration

2.1. Basic Requirements

To use QIU’s services, Users must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract.
  • Provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
  • Accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  • Verify their account via email or another method indicated by QIU.

Users are classified as Recruiters (companies or individuals seeking to hire) or Candidates (professionals seeking job opportunities)

2.2. User Profiles

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities carried out through their accounts. QIU shall not be held liable for unauthorized use of an account.

Users must promptly notify QIU of any unauthorized access, data loss, or suspected security breach. QIU may suspend accounts showing signs of fraud or misuse.

2.3. User Obligations

Users agree to:

  • Use QIU in good faith and in accordance with applicable law.
  • Provide truthful, accurate, and complete information.
  • Not publish or transmit illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading content.
  • Not introduce viruses, malware, or automated tools that disrupt QIU’s operation.
  • Not impersonate other individuals or entities

3. Service Operation

QIU provides digital tools that allow:

  • Candidates to create verified profiles and receive interview invitations.
  • Recruiters to post or describe job opportunities, review candidate profiles, and schedule interviews through the platform.

The platform uses AI algorithms to facilitate connections between candidates and recruiters.
All AI decisions are supervised by QIU’s human team to ensure transparency, fairness, and legal compliance.
QIU’s AI does not make final hiring or rejection decisions.

QIU’s role is limited to providing the technological infrastructure necessary for Users to interact. QIU is not an employer, recruitment agency, or labor intermediary and does not participate in any contractual relationships that may arise from use of the platform.

4. Economic Conditions

QIU may offer free and paid subscription plans to Recruiters, providing different levels of access, visibility, or features.
Applicable fees will be clearly displayed before subscription. Payments are processed through authorized payment service providers using secure protocols.

Use of the platform by Candidates is completely free.

Paid services may renew automatically unless canceled by the Recruiter before the renewal date. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their profile, without prejudice to amounts already paid.

QIU reserves the right to modify prices, payment methods, or features, with prior notice as required by law.

5. User Content and Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for all content they publish or transmit through QIU, including profile information, job postings, and exchanged messages.

QIU does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of information provided by Users and will not be liable for false, incomplete, or misleading information.

QIU reserves the right to delete or suspend any content that violates these Terms, the law, or the ethical standards of the platform.

6. Data Processing and Use of AI

QIU uses artificial intelligence systems to enhance matching between candidates and recruiters, optimize interview suggestions, and improve user experience.

AI may process data such as:

  • Professional skills and experience.
  • Job requirements and recruiter preferences.
  • Behavioral and interaction data within the platform.

AI-generated results are merely indicative and non-binding.
Recruiters retain full responsibility for hiring decisions.

All data processing complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is explained in QIU’s Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, source code, logos, trademarks, and software associated with QIU are the exclusive property of Novense Quantum AI, S.L. or its licensors.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable right to use the platform solely for its intended purpose.
Reproduction, modification, or unauthorized distribution of QIU’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

8. Liability and Warranties

QIU provides its services “as is” and does not guarantee uninterrupted access, specific results, or compatibility with all devices or browsers.

QIU shall not be liable for:

  • Technical failures, interruptions, or errors beyond its control.
  • False, incomplete, or inaccurate information provided by Users.
  • Hiring decisions, selection processes, or communications between Users.

QIU does not guarantee employment for Candidates or the hiring of specific Candidates by Recruiters.

9. Account Suspension and Deletion

QIU may suspend or delete User accounts in the following cases:

  • Violation of these Terms.
  • Illegal or fraudulent activity.
  • Improper or abusive use of the platform.
  • Extended periods of inactivity.

Users may delete their accounts at any time. Account deletion does not exempt Users from outstanding obligations or payments.

10. Modifications and Updates

QIU reserves the right to modify these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the operation of the Website at any time.
Significant changes will be communicated to registered Users, and continued use of the platform following notification will constitute acceptance.

11. Data Protection

QIU processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection by contacting legal@qiu.live

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be null or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law.
Any dispute shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain), unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws.
