Hotel Receptionist

The QIU recruitment team is looking for Hotel Receptionists to work full-time in Barcelona.

We are looking for professionals with a passion for service, a customer-focused approach, strong communication skills, and a desire to continue growing professionally. We work with over 50 national and international hotel chains, supporting them with their talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

All shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to interview with our client companies.

What will your main duties be?

As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be one of the main points of contact for guests, helping to provide a high-quality experience during their stay.

• Handle check-in and check-out processes.
• Assist guests in person, by telephone, and via email.
• Manage bookings, amendments, and special requests.
• Provide information about hotel services and resolve queries and issues.
• Manage payments, invoicing, and administrative reception tasks.
• Coordinating with other hotel departments.
• Use property management systems (PMS) and meet the establishment's quality standards.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in hotel reception.
• Good level of English, both spoken and written.
• Other languages will be valued, especially Catalan, French, or German.
• Customer-focused, strong communication skills, and a professional attitude.
• Responsible, organised, proactive, and capable of working as part of a team.
• Qualifications in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management will be valued.
• Experience with PMS systems such as Opera or Protel will be considered an asset.
• Availability to work full-time, including rotating shifts, weekends, and bank holidays, depending on the vacancy.

• Salary: €22,000 – €27,000 per year.
