The QIU recruitment team is looking for Front of House and Kitchen staff for full-time positions in Santander.
We are looking for professionals with experience in the hospitality industry, a passion for service, the ability to work as part of a team, a proactive attitude, and a desire to continue growing professionally. What will your main duties be?
Depending on your experience and the role you join, you will be part of the front of house or kitchen team, helping to provide a high-quality dining experience for the establishment's guests and customers.
Front of House Staff:
- Assisting and advising customers during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
- Preparing and setting up tables and dining areas before, during, and after each service.
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks in accordance with the establishment's standards.
- Assisting with buffet, restaurant, bar, room service, and event operations.
- Managing customer requests and resolving any issues that may arise during service.
- Maintaining order, cleanliness, and the proper presentation of the facilities.
- Coordinating with the kitchen team to ensure an agile and efficient service.
- Adhering to customer service, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
Kitchen Staff:
- Participating in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to the kitchen team's instructions.
- Carrying out mise en place tasks and organising kitchen stations.
- Assisting in the preparation of breakfasts, buffets, set menus, à la carte services, and events.
- Ensure the correct preservation, handling, and storage of food.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen facilities, utensils, and equipment.
- Monitor the proper use of raw materials and help reduce food waste.
- Coordinate with the rest of the team to ensure services run smoothly.
- Comply with hygiene and food safety standards and established HACCP procedures.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in front-of-house or kitchen roles in hotels, restaurants, or hospitality establishments.
- We are looking for candidates for roles such as Waiter/Waitress, Assistant Waiter/Waitress, Section Head, Chef, Commis Chef, and Chef de Partie, among others.
- A passion for service, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Responsible, organised, dynamic, and proactive individuals.
- Ability to adapt to different work paces and service requirements.
- For front-of-house positions, a good level of English and knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.
- For kitchen positions, experience in different sections, culinary techniques, and knowledge of food safety will be an advantage.
- Qualifications in Hospitality, Catering, Culinary Arts, Gastronomy, or related fields will be an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain the establishment's quality standards.
- Availability to work full-time, including rotating shifts, weekends, and bank holidays, depending on the vacancy.

- Salary: €18,000 – €25,000 per year, depending on the role and experience.
