At QIU, we are looking for Hotel Heads of Reception for full-time positions in Barcelona.

We are looking for professionals with experience in team management, leadership skills, a customer-oriented approach, and strong organisational abilities.

We work with over 50 national and international hotel chains, supporting them with their talent acquisition and recruitment processes.

All shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to interview with our client companies.

What will your main duties be?

As Head of Reception, you will be responsible for coordinating the Front Office department, ensuring excellent guest service and the smooth running of operations.

• Leading, organising, and supervising the reception team.
• Coordinating shifts, tasks, and daily department operations.
• Overseeing check-in, check-out, and reservation management processes.
• Managing incidents and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Supervising billing, payments, and administrative procedures.
• Coordinating with other hotel departments.
• Ensuring compliance with quality and service standards.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Front Office Manager, Assistant Manager, or Front Office Supervisor.
• Experience in team leadership and coordination.
• High level of English, both spoken and written.
• Other languages will be valued, especially Catalan, French, or German.
• Organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-oriented approach.
• Experience with PMS systems such as Opera or Protel.
• Qualifications in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management will be valued.
• Availability to work full-time.
